Positive Pressure Air Conditioning System

Operating rooms are typically designed with positive pressure air conditioning. This system helps prevent contaminated air from entering the room from surrounding areas.
We can design operating rooms to achieve cleanliness levels of Class 100,000 or Class 10,000, according to the surgeon’s requirements.

The operating room air conditioning system consists of three stages of filtration: Pre-filter, Medium HEPA filter, and HEPA filter.
In general, operating rooms are controlled in accordance with U.S. sta ndards, which include:

• Temperature control
• Relative humidity control
• Pressure control
• Air change (ACH) control
• Anti-static system
